We strive to accommodate all possible tariffs and various calculation methods. This tool is designed for everyone. Our goal is not to instruct drivers but to provide a tool that allows users to determine how to calculate trip fares in their taxis.

Upon launching the program for the first time, several default tariffs are preset which can be customized as needed. Each tariff includes a minimum fare, rate per distance, travel duration, and waiting time. The minimum fare may comprise either time or distance, depending on which one is reached first. Users have the option to calculate distance and time together or separately, with the ability to specify a minimum speed below which no charges incur. Note that the minimum speed impacts simultaneous calculations; when speed exceeds this threshold, only distance or time will be factored in. By configuring step-by-step settings, users can define rates per kilometer and minute, e.g. $3 per kilometer initially, and $2 after the 5th kilometer. A comprehensive breakdown of trip costs is provided at the end, allowing clients to view their expenses clearly.

Additional services can be set up as incremental fees applied during the trip. A customizable list of such services is available at the start along with the chosen tariff. The standout feature of our taximeter is the ability to switch tariffs on-the-fly, enabling adjustments based on changing conditions during a journey.

If any fare-related challenges arise, users are encouraged to contact customer support for assistance or to suggest new tariff options for future enhancements.

It's essential to have a GPS-enabled device for accurate fare calculations; otherwise, only time will be considered. If kilometers aren't calculating correctly, users are advised to install dedicated GPS testing software available at the app store.

The taximeter interface is optimized for tablet use, ensuring ease of operation while on-the-go. The application is designed to run efficiently even on low-spec devices, featuring customizable themes and font sizes.

Moreover, users can benefit from a convenient widget that remains visible while operating other apps. This widget offers location flexibility, allowing users to position it wherever desired.

The system supports shift management functionality, automatically initiating a shift upon starting a trip and ending it with a simple button press.

Miles can be selected as the unit of distance measurement (1 mile = 1609.344 meters).

If there are any localization issues resulting from automated translations, users are encouraged to report them promptly for resolution.
